Our Purpose
Immanuel Retreat Ministries exists to help all who participate in it to know, love, and serve God and one another, as described and commanded in the Holy Scriptures. We support churches and other organizations by providing a rural "retreat" setting and outdoor experience in which their leaders and members can strengthen their relationships with God and each other.
Our Retreats
Immanuel Retreat Ministries can provide speakers and teachers on a variety of topics: Bible teaching and preaching for youth through to adults; Guided prayer and spiritual disciplines; Spiritual formation; Visioning and Planning; Leadership and Elder development; Church administration (governance and finance); Purity issues; Stewardship and giving and etc.
Our Facilities
Immanuel Retreat Ministries offers bed room units, living and recreation areas. 25-30 people can stay at the facilities. Electric piano and PowerPoint projector are available for rent. Riverhurst Community Church building and the main sanctuary is available Monday to Saturday and can accommodate about 70 people. The dining hall is in the basement of the church building.
